THE CURIOUS LOOP

Thoughtful content, reliably published.

Curious Engine is a private publishing automation system used by authorized channel operators to prepare, validate and publish videos to YouTube.

What Curious Engine does

It coordinates video publishing workflows for authorized YouTube channels, including The Curious Loop and MiraVana Studio. It can validate channel identity, check existing uploads, upload videos, apply metadata and report publishing results.

Who can use it

Curious Engine is intended for the channel owner and explicitly authorized operators. It is not a public social network and it does not provide third parties with access to a user's YouTube account.

Human authorization

Google OAuth is used so the channel owner can explicitly grant and revoke YouTube access. The system only acts within the permissions granted by the authorizing account.

GOOGLE & YOUTUBE DATA

Why we request YouTube access

Curious Engine requests only YouTube permissions needed for its publishing workflow. These permissions are used to confirm the authorized channel, inspect the channel's own uploads, avoid accidental duplicate publishing, upload videos, and manage video metadata or publishing status.

YouTube read access Used to verify the authorized channel and inspect relevant upload information.
YouTube upload access Used to upload videos that the authorized operator has chosen to publish.
YouTube management access Used to manage metadata and publishing-related settings for authorized videos.

Curious Engine does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Contacts, Calendar, or unrelated Google services.

For complete details about access, storage, sharing, retention, revocation and deletion, read the Privacy Policy.
